Pictured above is the ULC's lobbyist, Glen Casey of Casey Strategic Relations. Many in Albany know Glen as a hard worker, a great family man and an even greater lobbyist. Glen has decided to run for Albany City Auditor and the Utility Labor Council is fully behind him.  We wish him luck in his Democratic Primary on September 12th.  Glen is pictured here leading a training before our most recent Albany Lobby Day. Glen is responsible for working to pass legislation that authorized the Graduate Student Employee Union Pay Bill in 2014, protections for utility call center jobs, requirements for providing safety equipment (Hot Sticks) when working on high voltage lines and increasing an assault on a utility worker to a felony. Glen served eight years on the Albany City Council and was appointed by Mayor Jerry Jennings to serve on the City of Albany Living Wage Board. Good luck Glen we wish you the very best.
